Imagine a community free of violence against women. Imagine a community where our daughters, sisters and mothers have the same opportunities as men. Respect. Equality.
I would like to hear these messages at staff meetings and work place social getherings, union meetings and board meetings. Places where many men gather, to often hear other men talk. Work places need to step up and take a lead. Courageous leaders need to raise this issue in the work place and set expectations on moral behaviour. Lindsay Fox has done this at Linfox, attending staff meetings and discussing violence against women.
